Pastor Sandie Thomas

Advocacy and Fund Development Director

Pastor Thomas serves as the Senior Pastor of Spiritual Blessing Lighthouse Ministries in London, ON, and is also an international motivational speaker.


She is currently a board member of several organizations, including:

* Internet Sense First

* Iwmn International Women's Ministry Network

* The Anti-Racism Panel for the London Police Services

* The Anti-Racism Panel for the London Middlesex Health Unit

* Schulich School of Medicine Black pathway to Medic

* Urban League London


Pastor Thomas was a Keynote Speaker at the 2023 and 2024 Investing in the Children Workshop and at the 2023, 2024 and 2025 Black History Month events at the London Catholic Schools and Western University, and at Dalhousie University and The .American Library Association 2025 .


Pastor Thomas also co-authored “A Collection of Sermons Volume 1” and contributed a chapter titled “How Public Libraries Build Sustainable Communities In The 21ST Century.” She has also been featured in two award-winning film documentaries: “Vulnerable Innocence,” which received over 12 awards including Indiefest, and “School to Prison Pipeline,” winner of the Toronto Independent Film Festival Best Canadian Documentary.


Pastor Thomas helped pilot London's First Black Community Public Library and created the W.E.A.N. Community Centre in London, Ontario.
